Support for Families in the Early Days of Parenthood
At Lindsey Lactation, families receive compassionate, evidence-based support through the early stages of life with a new baby. Services include breastfeeding support with an RN and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), postpartum doula care, and infant CPR education—helping parents feel prepared, confident, and supported at home.
Whether you are preparing for your baby’s arrival, adjusting to life with a newborn, or working through feeding challenges, personalized guidance is available every step of the way.

Families commonly reach out for help with:
• painful latch or nipple pain
• difficulty getting baby to latch or feed effectively
• concerns about milk supply or baby’s weight gain
• pumping, bottle introduction, and milk storage
• returning to work while continuing to breastfeed
• feeding twins or multiples
• starting solids while maintaining breastfeeding

In addition to lactation consultations, Lindsey Lactation offers postpartum doula support for families adjusting to life with a newborn and infant CPR education to help caregivers feel prepared in emergencies.
If concerns arise that require additional medical care, referrals to trusted healthcare providers and specialists can also be provided.
Early parenthood can feel overwhelming at times, but with the right support, families can build confidence and enjoy their feeding and parenting journey.

Tracie
Jayme is the reason why I was able to safely manage an oversupply, which allowed me to feed my twins and three other babies! After a somewhat challenging delivery, we were able to quickly create a pumping schedule and stick to it! She was always there for any questions I had, and there were a lot! Jayme was also instrumental in my weaning process. I was able to slowly and safely cut back on my pumping sessions until she gave me the green light to stop. I wouldn’t have been able to exclusively pump for my girls without Jayme!

We cannot recommend Jayme more wholly or heartily! She has been a godsend to our family on our feeding journey. We experienced so many unexpected challenges and hurdles(isn’t that always the way!) and Jayme was always there for us through every single one of them. Unwaveringly, she offered her support and expertise and helped us to find the way through to a solution that felt comfortable for all of us. She never imposed her personal beliefs on us or judged us but showed us total compassion and respect at all times. She felt like family instantly and we knew right away that she genuinely cared about us and that we could both trust and rely on her even when an issue arose outside of normal hours. Jayme is truly passionate about this work and it shines through in every heartfelt interaction that she has with her clients. She is highly skilled and qualified in her profession, and applies the perfect balance between guiding you with self determination and supporting you with respect and kindness. She is absolutely wonderful! We feel blessed and extremely privileged to have had Jayme guide us on our feeding journey and we are very pleased with where we’ve landed, thanks to her. Don’t hesitate for one second to book a consultation with her- you will not find anyone who compares!
