Introduction to Breastfeeding Class

This online class provides a comprehensive overview of breastfeeding to help you get started with confidence. Through informative slides and videos with expert commentary, you will learn:
- The basics of breastfeeding physiology
- How to recognize infant hunger cues
- Effective breastfeeding positions
- Strategies to address common challenges
Designed to equip you with essential knowledge, this class ensures you are well-prepared for a successful breastfeeding experience.​​
Prenatal Consultation

This session prepares you for a confident and successful breastfeeding journey. It includes:

- Discussion of your goals, concerns, and prior experiences.
- Guidance on latch, positioning, milk supply, and common challenges.
- Tailored advice for early postpartum care and breastfeeding management.
- Answers to questions on techniques, self-care, and newborn care.
This consultation equips you with the essential knowledge and support for the early days of breastfeeding.
Initial Breastfeeding Consultation

During this at-home visit, I provide personalized, compassionate support to help you and your baby thrive.

- A review of your breastfeeding history, goals, and concerns.
- Observation of a feeding session to assess latch, positioning, and milk transfer.
- Assessment of your baby’s feeding patterns, oral anatomy, and weight.
- Support for your comfort, including tips for resolving nipple pain, engorgement, or milk supply concerns.
- Hands-on guidance to improve latch and positioning.
Together, we'll create a customized care plan tailored to your needs and follow up with a written summary of recommendations. My goal is to help you feel confident and supported as you work toward your breastfeeding goals.
Follow-Up Breastfeeding Consultation

Here we will assess your progress and discuss any new challenges that may have arisen since our initial consultation. You can expect the following:
- Review of the previously outlined plan to evaluate its effectiveness. Identify the strategies and elements that are performing well and those that require improvement.
- An observation of a feeding session to evaluate latch, positioning, and milk transfer.
- A review of your breastfeeding goals, any changes in feeding patterns, additional tips and resources
Weight Check

A weight check to see how baby is doing and is only available for current clients.
Tele-Health

In addition to in-person visits, I am pleased to offer all of my lactation consulting via tele-health, making support more accessible and flexible. Whether you're recovering at home, need additional guidance, or live in a remote area, these virtual services provide you with expert support from the comfort of your own space.
"First Night Home" Postpartum Support

My overnight service provides a restful, supportive experience during one of your first nights home with your newborn. As both a lactation consultant and postpartum doula, I stay overnight in your home to offer hands-on care and guidance, allowing you and your partner to rest while I take care of your baby.
- Newborn Care Education: I’ll provide gentle guidance on newborn care, including diapering, soothing, and sleep patterns.
- Breastfeeding Support: I’ll assist with breastfeeding overnight, ensuring your baby is latched correctly, helping with any difficulties, and bringing the baby to you for nursing sessions as needed.
- Overnight Baby Care: While you sleep, I’ll take care of your baby, including soothing, feeding, if bottle feeding, and handling any other nighttime needs.
- Light Cleaning & Baby Laundry: I’ll handle basic household tasks like washing baby’s laundry and dishes that have accumulated during my stay to help keep your space tidy.
Please note, sibling care is not included in this service.
This is for 10-12 hours overnight.

This overnight visit aims to give you peace of mind, rest, and the support your needs as you adjust to your new baby.
Pediatric First Aid/CPR Hybrid Course

Equip yourself with the essential skills to respond confidently in emergency situations with our Pediatric CPR and First Aid Course, certified through the American Heart Association (AHA). This comprehensive course is ideal for parents, caregivers, and anyone responsible for the safety of children.​
Course Format
- Online Learning: Complete the AHA’s engaging and interactive online course at your own pace, covering the fundamentals of pediatric CPR, choking relief, and basic first aid for infants and children. ($22.00- you are required to sign up and pay this fee to access the course from AHA)
- Hands-On Training: Once the online portion is completed, I will come to your home to guide you through the practical skills required for certification.
What to Expect During the Hands-On Portion:
- Convenience: This is an in-home service, eliminating the need to travel.
- Comprehensive Training: I bring all necessary materials, including CPR manikins, training supplies, and certification resources.
- Personalized Instruction: Receive one-on-one attention tailored to your needs.
- Certification: Upon successful completion, you'll receive your American Heart Association certification via email, valid for two years.
